Support Alicia’s Journey
Alicia is 22 years old and lives with Cerebral Palsy, Hydrocephalus, and epilepsy. She experiences daily pain, needs 24-hour care, and relies on equipment and therapies that the NHS doesn’t fund. Every single donation her family receives goes directly towards giving Alicia a better, more comfortable, and more independent life.
What your donation helps fund
Right now, we are raising money for a motorised wheelchair for Alicia. This isn’t a luxury — it’s life-changing. It will allow her to move around more freely, explore new places, and experience everyday adventures that most of us take for granted. It will also reduce the physical strain on her carers and help ease her daily discomfort.
Once we reach our wheelchair goal, every pound raised after that will go towards private therapies including:
- Physiotherapy — to ease pain and improve movement in her limbs and muscles
- Hydrotherapy — gentle water-based therapy that significantly reduces her discomfort
- Speech and language therapy — to support Alicia’s communication and development
None of these are funded by the NHS, but all of them make a profound difference to Alicia’s quality of life.
Every penny counts
You don’t need to give a lot to make a big difference. Whether it’s £2 or £200, every contribution brings Alicia’s family one step closer to their goal. Donating takes just a couple of minutes via our GoFundMe page, and you’ll receive updates on Alicia’s progress along the way.
